Hands-On Implant Course With Live Patients

Place 20 implants yourself and assist on 20 more — in 5 days, on real patients, under close faculty supervision.

Held in Lima, Peru and Havana, Cuba, where the volume and variety of live cases is something no U.S. hands-on course can offer. Hotel, meals, local transport and airport pickup are included — your only extra is the flight.

You know the theory. You've watched the videos. But you still refer every implant case out.

Every referral is a case — and revenue — leaving your practice. What's missing isn't knowledge. It's supervised time in the chair, placing implants with your own hands.

Most implantology programs are lectures where you never place a single implant. This one is built the other way around.

Twenty implants. Placed by you.

Surgical Implantology is a 5-day program with live patients. You operate; the faculty supervises every step.

  • Place 20 implants yourself, in all areas of the mouth.
  • Assist on 20 more as part of the surgical team.
  • Single, partial and full edentulism, with different degrees of bone resorption and difficulty.
  • Minimally invasive and flap techniques; conventional, physiological and reverse drilling.
  • Diagnose, plan and treat each case — with pre- and post-surgical clinical sessions.

Five days. One hour of theory. Then practice.

No week of lectures before you touch a patient. The program is built around the operating room.

  1. One hour of theory

The essentials, delivered at the start. Then you scrub in.

  2. Pre-surgical clinical sessions

Diagnose and plan your cases with the faculty before each surgery.

  3. Live patient surgery

Place your 20 implants and assist on 20 more, with an instructor at your side.

  4. Post-surgical sessions

Review outcomes and decisions case by case.

  5. Gala dinner and certificate

The program closes with the Friday gala dinner and your certificate of completion.

Why Lima and Havana

Case volume. In a U.S. hands-on course you rarely operate on more than a handful of patients. Here, every dentist in the group places 20 implants personally. That's the reason the course runs in these cities — not cost-cutting.

Questions dentists ask us

Why are the courses held in Peru and Cuba?

Because of the patients. A hands-on course in the U.S. rarely lets you operate on more than a handful of cases. In Lima and Havana, the volume and variety of live cases is high enough for every dentist in the group to place 20 implants personally — single, partial and full edentulism, with different degrees of bone resorption. That is the reason the program runs there.

What's included, and what isn't?

Included: hotel with breakfast, local transportation, airport pickup, unlimited surgical material, lunch and amenities, welcome dinner, Friday gala dinner, a customized surgical scrub and your certificate. Not included: your international flight.

How many implants will I place myself?

Twenty, personally, in all areas of the mouth — plus surgical assistance on another 20. A 30-implant program is also available.

What's the group size?

Each course runs with 6 to 10 dentists. Small groups are what make it possible for everyone to operate, not watch.

Do I get a certificate?

Yes. You receive a certificate on completion of the program.

I've never placed an implant. Is this for me?

Surgical Implantology is an intermediate program. Tell us about your experience in the form and we will recommend whether to start here or with our foundation Oral Surgery course.

Can I bring my dental assistant?

Yes. Your auxiliary staff can join a dedicated program that trains them as surgical field assistants and instrumentalists in oral and implant surgery, including operating room sterilization techniques.
